Free Meal Delivery
If you are having trouble financially or physically preparing your
own meals, consider contacting the Senior Friendship Center. They
are a wonderful service in Sarasota County to help our seniors. They
provide FREE nutritious, home-delivered meals. Contact them at
941-373-5027 Monday-Wednesday 2-4pm or Thursday and Friday
9am-1pm.
All Faiths Food Bank
All Faiths Food Bank is the only food bank and largest hunger
relief organization in Sarasota and Desoto Counties. All Faiths operates a roster of innovative direct service programs that not only
solve the immediate problem of hunger but also strives to end
hunger by helping families and individuals to gain long-term food
security, enjoy better health outcomes and achieve self-sufficiency.
Their priority is to serve the most vulnerable first: children, seniors,
veterans and those in crisis.
Thru April – You can pick up groceries right around the corner
at the Salvation Army – 1051 Albe Farm Road – call 941-484-6227.
There are a number of other locations for pick up and drive through.
